- I'll be attending some different conventions next year. I'll let you guys know more about it whenever I have more details about it. Calgary is on my list. maybe Seattle... we'll see.

- getting back to my normal drawing speed after a weird middle of the year.

- just got my yellow ring yesterday now I have a yellow and a black.

- sore throat. sucks.

- Green Lantern Corps was a good read this week. I think Tomasi is doing a great job.

- last Wednesday's Drink and Draw was tons of fun. lots of new faces showed up. in fact we'll be doing another one next Wednesday again. that's right, it's two weeks in a row
so, Wednesday, October 21st, here in Toronto. same place same time. that bar right in front of Silver Snail, 7:30ish pm. everyone is invited as always. these are the usual faces you can see there: and lots more I can't remember. sorry

and now, for the random updates:

- I'm playing Zen Pinball for the PS3. first time I bought something from the PS online store. good times.

- I completed my Kalibak from the DC Universe collection sweeet. now on to Atom Smasher

- hey, the recent renumbered Incredibles #1 wasn't drawn by me. but I did issue 2. and it will be out soon. I guess.

- Sacred Season is the game I've been working on for a while now. it's one of those MMO flash games. they want to revamp the whole game and there's a bunch of cool people working on that. and me

- I'll post some concepts whenever I can. pretty cool stuff I guess.

- or maybe I'll put them together in a b/w sketchbook. until the end of this year I guess. that would be cool.

- my sketchbooks are almost sold out, btw which is great for me. so thanks everybody for buying it.

- The Office is awesome.

- Alan Davis is awesome.

- 11 o'clock is awesome.

- I think I'm going to Calgary.

- I'm doing stuff with watercolor. for fun.

- I'm busy. no, really. There's so much work to do I'm forgetting to eat sometimes.

- FanEXPO was a few weeks ago by now... and I didn't mention anything here about that. so yeah, it was fun. good to meet everyone again. I tried to do as many sketches as I could, but in the end I was wasted.

some updates...

- Toronto's Fan Expo is next weekend (Aug 28 - 30). I'll have a table there. and I'll also be at the Boom! Studios booth promoting the Incredibles. very exciting. so make sure to say hi. I'll bring some new prints, my 2009 sketchbook, originals and I'll be doing sketches as well. should be fun more Fan Expo info here: [link]

- I'm playing Football Manager again. usually it takes me 3 months to get tired of that. so addictive...

- Working on my 6th issue of the Incredibles... pretty happy with my pace...

- btw, for all you people waiting for me to mail the sketchbooks... I'm SO sorry. I've been completely swamped in here... I want to send them after the con next weekend for sure. I really appreciate you all for the patience.

- renewed my US visa. so next year the idea is to go to some US cons. can't wait any suggestions?

- secret project #1 is going well. I'll be able to tell everybody about it in maybe 2 months.

- secret project #2 is almost done and I hope the client doesn't kill me.

- secret project #3 is about to start and it's good to go

- hey I've been reading books. more than comics. no, seriously. it's somehow a richer experience... so yeah, kids. read books. and comics.

- GI Joe was so fun. Duke, Scarlett and Baroness were my favorites. Snake Eyes was too short... still cool though.
