I can kind of see why people say they like 2010's rendition, but that pose looks pretty uncomfortable and plastic (hips and torso facing different directions dang!). 2008 comes close to 2012 in comparable fluidity of motion, but 2012 does it astoundingly better.

Looking between the Powergirl and your Avengers progressions, 2006 looks like a kind of style that'd show up on t-shirts, but 2012 is print-worthy material.
