not sure how many of you follow me on twitter (@marcio_takara), but I usually post some pics from whatever I'm working on at the moment.
so I thought it would be cool to post some of those pics here on DA too.

this is from Incorruptible#26. guess who punched Plutonian...

Thats... a pretty small brush :)

May I ask, what made you decide to use brushes for inking instead of the usual dip pens? With almost every other artist in my pull list doing it with nibs, your brush inking is a breath of fresh air :)

I don't like nibs. that's all :) nothing wrong with them. just my taste. you get different results with the tools you use for sure. so it's up to you. try them both if you need to choose.

Your work inspired me to try inking something with the smallest brush I could find. It was labeled 10/00 whatever that means--looked to be about the same size as the one you show here ...it didn't turn out to well so I didn't upload the drawing, but I really feel the potential in such a tool.

I'm going to practice a lot more. Seeing ink work like this really intrigues me.
